The timeline

Here's what a typical redevelopment timeline might look like. When we have information about future plans and consultations, we'll share timescales here!

Phase 1

The ideas

Your local authority will respond to a need or concerns they've heard in the community by commissioning a design team or consultancy to come up with some new ideas for your place.

Phase 2

Consultation

This is where you come in! The designs and ideas that are produced are then tested with the community.

Phase 3

Feedback

Your thoughts and concerns are hopefully documented, considered and the original plan will hopefully change accordingly!

Phase 4

Presentation

The changes made from your feedback are then presented back to you for further comment. The cycle might begin again to refine the process and hopefully produce something that works for the majority of people in the community!

Phase 5

The process restarts

The process effectively goes back to Phase 1, with the new proposal, where you will get the chance to have your say again.

Phase 6

Capital works

As a result of your feedback, ideas and input your place is transformed when your voice is incorporated into the new designs and you see your place change!

Stoneyfield Park Project

Your Trust have worked in partnership with many organisations such as Rochdale Borough Council (Public Health, Environmental Management and Highways teams), Groundworks, Get Up & Grow, Elected Members, community centres and local residents to develop a park, after many years of requests from local residents.
